Accessibility
We want every student to be able to use Trailpost. This page lists what works now and the known limits, and explains how to report a problem.
Last updated October 26, 2026
Our goal
We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, for this website, Trailpost Plus, and our lessons.
What works now
- Website and lesson text is live text, so browser zoom, screen readers, and read-aloud tools can use it.
- Edumon can be played entirely with the keyboard, and game text stays on screen until the player moves on.
Known limits
- Edumon is drawn as a picture inside the browser, so the game screen is currently unreadable by screen readers.
- Some older printable files and videos still need alt text or captions. We add these as we update each product.
Reporting a problem
To report part of Trailpost that is hard to use for you or your student, email [email protected]. Tell us the page or product and what happened. We reply within a few days, and we can usually send the material in another format. Schools that need an accessibility conformance report (VPAT) can ask at the same address.
